    Well, I know some of you guys on here read books or poetry.
    So this is a thread on literature, post books and your review about it; or post a poem, and talk about it. Or simply good auto/biographies, or your favorite author.

    To start off,
    S.E. Hinton; my favorite writer of all time.
    Bad ass books, like the outsiders and tex.

    I have a feeling this isn't gonna last.

    Friends by Thomas Curtis Clark

    If all the sorrows of the weary earth,
    The pains and heartaches and humanity-
    If all were gathered and given to me,
    I still could have my share of wealth and worth
    Who have you, Friend of Old, to be my cheer
    Through life's uncertain fortunes, year by year.

    Thank God for friends, more prized as years increase,
    Who, as possesions fail our hearts and hands,
    Become the boon supreme, then gold and lands
    More precious. Let all else, if must be, cease;
    But, Lord of Life, I pray on me bestow
    The gift of Friends to share the way I go.

    The only books that I've liked are Fallen Angels, Monster, and Lord of the Flies, or anything by Walter Dean Myers

    Yuh, Myers is badass.
    I was suppose to read Fallen Angels this year,
    But I never got to it.
    So I read You Dont Know Me, which was gay,
    and This book with diaries of kids in the holocaust.

    Yeah, I've seen that book;
    this kid that sat behind always read it in class,
    and never did his work, cause he was always with that book.
    So I'm guessing its really good.

    it's pretty much a modern remake of Catcher In The Rye. it's a pretty good read, but kind of whiny. i don't know, it's short so you might as well just read it. i liked it enough.

    i just finished reading Me Talk Pretty Some Day by Dave Sedaris and Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre, both of which are excellent books.
