Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground
Every Skater Has a Story, Create Yours!
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground gives you the freedom to truly define your character, story and style based on the choices you make, the path you select and the styles of skating you choose. Take the risks, face the challenges, and reap the rewards of the deepest skateboarding video game experience to date. Be sure to check out the Boss in the game and the new 2007 Emerica shoes in the game’s skate shop.
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground is in stores now! Play the demo for a chance to win a trip to the 2007 Action Sports Awards in Los Angeles. Visit the Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground site for more details.
Head on over to Epicly Later'd TV once again for two more new episodes on Emerica's Wild Ride 2007! Episodes 7 and 8 focus on Emerica pro Andrew Reynolds.
Check out Emerica Europe team rider Ricardo Fonseca and the rest of the Cliché team on the Gypsy Tour 2 over at Fuel TV. There are three parts, so be sure to view them all!
Pop on over to the Pharmacy Boardshop site to guesstimate how many limited Ogio Herman backpacks were made, and get some hot loot while you're at it. Good luck!
Here's one deadbeat that you'll love to have laying around the house: the Deadbeat sock by Emerica. It won't watch TV or play video games all day, nor will it bum smokes or eat all of your food. The Deadbeat sock is made of cotton /nylon /spandex with an embroidered Triangle logo; comes in black, blue or oxblood and is perfect for skating. I'd like to propose a toast: Here's to one Deadbeat that's good for something!

Why did I wait almost a year to review this issue of For Fun Zine? Because I wanted to let it age like a fine wine*, and boy did that idea ever pay off! This December 2006 vintage bottle is delicious, featuring a photo essay on a hectic trip to SoCal, a Photo Gallery, an article called “Another Day the Same Ditch” about a cool quarterpipe in ditch, a little old school mini-ramp action at "Tubby’s Ramp," an article called “Nightmare at Fossil Creek Skate Plaza” about a Halloween skate session with best trick contests; and a few columns like “Out of Bounds” concerning a little war with John Doe Zine, “Test Drive” product reviews, “Brazillian Noise” music reviews and a sweet “Trick Tip” on the Mystery Backside 360. As always, the price of this zine is free, so what are you waiting for? Email Claudio today and order a copy to call your very own. The For Fun Zine Web site is also still crackin'.
*It really just got lost on my desk.
