The land down under has been the hot spot for professional skateboarders lately. After hitting up the World Cup contest in Melbourne, Australia, Emerica pro Kevin “Spanky” Long stayed behind to get some filming in for the upcoming Baker video. Kevin also stopped in at PSC skate shop in Melbourne for an autograph signing. Thanks to all 30 of you Kids who showed up to hang out with Spanky.
Emerica pros Tosh Townend and Chris Senn are also in Australia with the Element team. Tosh skated well in the World Cup contest, making it to the Semi-Finals and placing 5th in his heat. Now he and Senn are just hitting up some spots around Melbourne before returning home. Keep an eye out for the Element video that’s going to be out really soon.
Not to be left out, Emerica am Braydon Szafranski is heading out to Australia this week to film for the upcoming Baker video. Braydon will be spending two weeks down there hanging out with Baker teammate Dustin Dollin.
Emerica pro Andrew Reynolds has been skating around Los Angeles, stacking up more footage for his part in the upcoming Baker video, while Erik Ellington has been sessioning the flat bar he acquired from his friends at the Emerica office last week. Like Drew, he has also been filming for the upcoming Baker vid. Lately, Erik’s been getting into golf quite a bit, and has been hitting up some local courses around LA.
I’m sure all of you are anticipating the release of the new TransWorld video featuring our very own Emerica pro, Leo Romero. Leo just got back from a filming trip up in Sacramento for the video, and is working on a 20 Questions article for TransWorld Skateboarding magazine, as well. Since Leo has returned home, he’s been ripping the RVCA Not-So-Mini-Ramp. One of the tricks Leo has up his sleeve for the ramp is an ollie up the extension to frontside nosegrind. So sick!
Emerica pro Bryan Herman has been spending a lot of time playing his guitar and writing music at home in Palmdale. Bryan is heading out to Bakersfield to skate a few spots and get some footage for his part in the Baker video.
