Hey, I recently chose some of your questions then called Emerica pro Austin Stephens today and fired them by him. Thanks for participating. He really enjoyed answering them.
Get ready to interview Emerica am Braydon Szafranski soon.

Emerica pro Aaron Suski has done it again! For the second time recently, he has found his way onto the cover of yet another skate mag. This time, it’s the December 2005 issue of Slap, which also features an article covering the Emerica Holland trip that we went on last Summer with Suski, Tosh Townend, Leo Romero and Matt Allen. The cover photo of Suski was shot in Amsterdam, and in case you’re wondering, yep, he definitely is defying the norm by frontside boardsliding up the hand rail!
Designed by Fos
(Owner / Artist, Heroin Skateboards)
Fos drinks too much coffee and draws monsters a lot. He likes Tom Waits, skateboarding, Coke in glass bottles, Japanese horror films, Egyptian death metal, Osaka, Earl Grey tea, ice cream, sketchbooks, films about possessed cars, girls who work in coffee shops, salt and vinegar chips, lemon cheesecake, Stockwell skatepark, Alphons Mucha, The Addams Family, old horror films, popcorn, driving in L.A. while listening to Morrissey, layback frontside rocks, power slides and black coffee.
Fos doesn’t drink alcohol, smoke or take drugs. He doesn’t have any pets. He lives in New Cross in London. He owns (and does graphics for) two European skateboard companies, Heroin and Landscape. He’s also done graphics for Toy Machine, Zero, Black Label and Volcom.

Heroin’s name refers to Fos’ addiction to skateboarding. "I was in the hospital with a badly broken wrist (from skateboarding), when I came up with the name. I don’t do any drugs or drink, so it plays on irony." The core of the company concentrates on skateboard hardware, such as premium quality maple decks and urethane wheels. Heroin also puts out hats, T-shirts,
sweatshirts and stickers. What ties it all together is hauntingly good screen-printed graphics, mostly designed by Fos.
Like Fos and Heroin, Emerica is committed to skateboarding 100%. Emerica believes that through skateboarding, people can EmPower themselves to do great things, not just on their skateboards, but in life in general. Fos is an example. Get up and get out! Start your own company. Create something!
The Limited-Edition Heritic 2, emblazoned with artwork by Fos, is super rare and available only in shops in Japan and the UK. Or maybe you can find a pair on the Web somewhere? Ya better hurry up, though, cuz these pups won’t be around for long.
