No rest for the rad! The Boss is about to earn the new title of Dad next month when his wife Christianna is due to have their baby.

If you’re lucky enough to be able to find a copy of The Journal ’zine in your town, you’ll be psyched to see 32 pages of Emerica pro Ed Templeton’s best art. All you Irish Kids better get ready to get Wild in the Streets in Belfast, Northern Ireland this coming Sunday, August 28, 2005! Get together at 12:00 noon at Point Seven 5ive Skate Store, then embark on a day of renegade skate jams for cash and prizes at various skate spots throughout the city. Reclaim the streets of Belfast!
Back to the…back to the banks, y’all! The Brooklyn Banks, that is! The city had threatened to demolish this legendary New York skate spot several times in recent years, but now we’re stoked to say it has just been restored and re-opened legally! Every skateboarder who visits this spot from now on owes a debt of gratitude to Steve Rodriguez for his tireless efforts to make this vision into a reality.
To celebrate this monumental undertaking, please join title sponsors 5boro, Emerica and Red Bull, along with Spitfire, Volcom, KCDC and Autumn skate shops, as they bring you the Back to the Banks Skate Jam and Best Trick contest this coming Saturday, August 27 at 1:00 p.m. Just to be able to skate the banks is reason enough to make it out, but we’re going to throw a little more incentive your way and offer up free food, drinks and product, as well.
Pros from 5boro, Emerica, Baker, Foundation, Spitfire and many others will be duking it out in the Best Trick contest for the title of “King of the Banks”. Be sure to come out and support the scene in New York and celebrate the fact that the banks are once again open to skateboarding…this time for good.
What’s new here on the Emerica site? Well, we’ve recently posted up a Sponsor Me Video Review featuring Nate Guest and a Zine Review of John Doe’s March 2005...
Now’s the time for number 10 in our ongoing series of Emerica Blab interviews in which you, the ever-loyal Kids, get to ask your favorite Emerica team rider that burning question you’ve always wanted to know.
This month’s subject is Emerica pro Aaron Suski. Without further ado, get your bad self into the Blabs section and ask away. Before you ask anything, however, be sure to read Aaron’s bio and interview first! Also, please keep your questions short and to the point.
