Emerica innovates once again with a limited batch of 600 pairs of Templeton model shoes spray-painted gold by hand, as well as a black / hot pink colorway on the Templeton 2, which is widely imitated by other skate footwear companies.

Emerica takes the Action Sports Retailer trade shoe in San Diego by storm. First, the brand hosts the Flicks film festival, featuring many favorite skate videos of the past 15 years. Second, Andrew Reynolds steps up and wins $10,000 for his 1st place finish at the Longest Gap Ollie Contest right on the trade show floor. As if that weren't enough, Drew seals it all up with a cover and whopping 20-page interview in the “Andrew Reynolds Forever” issue of Thrasher.
