Basically, around 300 kids showed up for Emerica's Wild in the Streets in Montreal and skated a few well-known spots in the city. Led by Marc April, the crew were even supported by the cops at one point to help finish the ride to the Papineau Plaza, a new park built by the city council that is not appropriate for skateboarding's real needs--that is, to re-create real street obstacles. It was all a bit of a mess at the end, but the message made it on the news, so now more people know what a joke that park is. Stab the following warm links for some hectic visual support:
