Congratulations to Luke F. of Charlestown, New Hampshire for winning our Win Leo's Pro Shoe Contest a few months back. He won one free pair of Emerica Leo shoes and one complete Baker Leo Romero skateboard. Sorry, we forgot to announce the winner back then. Look for more announcements of Emerica Web contest winners coming soon.
After a decade-and-a-half of pro status and having his name plastered all over numerous signature skateboards, wheels, shoes, t-shirts, action figures and an endless list of other items (including a town in California), it's about time Emerica pro Ed Templeton was honored with his very own skatepark! Congratulations, Ed! When can we come skate?

It's time for number 20 in our never-ending series of Blab Interviews conducted by you kids. This month, we're going to hit up Emerica pro Heath Kirchart for the third time. Just ask a nice, short question right here in this post and one week from now, I'll choose a few of the best and give Heath a call. Read Heath's bio and first and second Blab Interviews so you don't ask anything that has been already answered there.
Don't forget to ask some questions about Emerica Gear!

As you can see, Yvan Diaz’s video starts off with slams, board-breaks and almost-makes, which take up a good portion of time. That really isn’t the best way to start a sponsor me video. A lot of team managers have short attention spans and will move on to the next kid's video without giving you a chance. But I, being the nice guy that I am, stuck it out and watched the whole video. Boy, was glad that I did!
Yvan has got some serious tech skills! He’s all about flipping his board down gaps of various sizes. There was only one line in the video. I wish that there were more. It’s hard to tell a person’s style without seeing them push around. He definitely has a big bag of tricks, though, including lazer flips, nollie lazer flips, and the 360 flip at the end was bangin’! Yvan just earned himself a free pair of Emerica shoes! Thanks for sharing the vid.--Jeff Henderson
New shoe alert!
Kevin "Spanky" Long's second Emerica pro model is available now!
With the look and board feel of a vulcanized shoe, yet with the support and protection of a cupsole, the KSL Dos is a narrower, thinner, sleeker version of its older brother, the KSL 1, complete with an extra layer of leather where it counts--in the Ollie area--and a thuggish-looking KSL logo laceplate. And don't forget to peel up the footbed to see that special System G2™ Six Shooter gel cushion in the heel.

Be sure to score your free copy of Emerica's new Wild Life DVD in issue 35 of The Skateboard Mag. The disc contains all the action that went down during the 2006 Wild Ride and Wild in the Streets events.
A much shorter version was posted on the Harley-Davidson site a while back, but this DVD contains much more, plus kick-ass music by Earthless, an Emerica Stay Gold video teaser, and an Easter egg of surprise additional footage.
As if that weren't enough, there's also a huge 12-page article full of insane photos from the trip in the same issue! Buy a copy today at your local skate shop. You're gonna be so amped!
