There’s a lot going on this weekend for the Emerica team riders. On Saturday, July 28 at 1:00 p.m. Andrew Reynolds, Heath Kirchart, Jerry Hsu, Kevin "Spanky" Long, Austin Stephens and Marquis Preston will be doing a demo at Utility Boardshop in La Verne, California. Check out this funny-ass mini-documentary clip over on the Thrasher site about Ed Templeton and his signature trick, the impossible. Ed reveals the embarassing early-'80s freestyle origins of the trick--and how he claimed it as his own, took it to the streets and turned it into a demo hit. But, according to Ed, the impossible never really got the respect it deserved until Geoff Rowley started doing it.
Join in all the madness at the annual Back to the Banks contest on Saturday, August 11 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brooklyn Banks under the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan, New York. There will be a huge Best Trick Contest with thousands in cash and prizes. If it rains, the contest will be held on Sunday, August 12 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. and Manny Mania will run from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

As this lengthy clip proves, Greg Sadler is not afraid to saddle up and chuck his carcass off a wide variety of large structures, landing in some pretty odd places--he even finds himself touching down inside a mysterious black half circle and ending a half Cab kickflip manny between parked cars. Sweet lines full of nimble flippery, squeaky noseslides, big ol' rail vaults and fairly mad skills all around. What's not to like? Well, maybe a "stationary" landing or two. Sue me.
Thanks for submitting your footage, Greg. You just earned yourself a free pair of Emerica shoes.--Post King
