Thumbs: Up or down?
The fourth annual Goofy vs. Regular contest took place this past weekend at the Skatepark of Lake Forest. Chris Senn came in on Friday to tear up the pool contest. He carved, grinded and slashed the bowl and qualified first, but ended up in ninth place overall.

Braydon kicks it at the skull bowl.
On Saturday, Braydon Szafranski, Bryan Herman and Emerica flow riders Collin Provost, David Loy and Theotis Beasley tore up the street course during the Qualifier heats. Collin and David moved on to the finals on Sunday. Andrew Reynolds and Leo Romero were chosen to be on the starting team for Regular, which meant they got to bypass the Qualifiers.

Sunday was an amazing day of skateboarding. Andrew hucked a frontside flip over the double set hubba. That thing is huge! Drew also floated a perfect fakie flip down the 11 set. Leo killed it all day and ended up in fifth place. David Loy is a park killer and flowed around the course with ease, easily earning a fourth place spot.

Marisa dal Santo in the mix.

Marisa dal Santo, back lip.
Emerica flow rider Marisa dal Santo has been killing it in every contest she has entered this year. Following up on her X Games win in August, Marisa took first place at the Dawn of the Shred contest at GvR. Marisa is not scared to kickflip melon grab down the 11 stair set or back lip the 11 stair rail, either. She is one of the gnarliest girls shredding out there. Congrats, Marisa!
