With a mere press of a button, give or take a couple turned knobs and some focusing, a single instant in time can be physically captured in a sort of silver gelatin, or film. The laughter, the sorrow, the excitement of that moment are manifested in the form of a photograph. In modern times, with the affordability of technology, digital cameras have become so abundant that photography loses its meaning to people as a tool, as an art form, but is now rather a toy for the vain and the vacationist. The camera, in a sense, does not create art, but rather records the art occurring in nature, cities, the sky, people, among an endless list of others.
