How and when did you start skating?
My brother's friends hooked me up with my first board, probably when I was eight or nine, and it just went downhill from there.
Who were you skating with at first?
There was only two skaters in my school, because I grew up in a shit stain on the map.
What terrain were you riding at first?
Tennis court, flat bar, manny pad.
Who were some early influences on your skating?
My mother, Suggit, Thomas, McCrank, Reynolds...too many to name.
Do you enjoy skating in contests?
Not so much, but I'm down.
How could contests be improved?
Narrow it down to 400 kids rather than 1000.
What do you think of skate videos?
I enjoy them.
Which are your favorites?
Misled Youth, Modus Operandi, Menikmati.
Do you enjoy shooting video parts?
Stressful, but fun.
Do you skate small stuff like curbs and parking bumps?
Yeah, of course.
Why are curbs not allowed in magazines and videos anymore?
Because people these days are pushing it to the limit. It just doesn't cut it anymore.
Do you skate vert ramps?
I've skated the DC ramp a couple times.
Do you skate backyard pools?
Paulo Pool.
Do you skate skateparks?
I kinda live at the Black Box park, and the Adio park's pretty tight.
How could they improve the design of skateparks?More tranny.
How did you get on Emerica?
My homie Suggit brought me out skating with the Emerica dudes when they came through my town, and it just worked out.
What do you like about Emerica?
Everything.
Who do you skate with now?
Too many to name.
Who are your favorite skaters of all time?
McCrank, Reynolds, Thomas, Kirchart.
What have been the highlights of your skateboarding career?
Getting hooked up with Emerica and Zero, and meeting people I thought I would never meet.
Is there anything in skateboarding you haven't done that you'd like to accomplish?
A cover would be pretty crazy.
What do you enjoy besides skating?
Smoking, drinking, but not too much.
What music, art, books have you been enjoying lately?
AC/DC, Hustler.
What are your future goals?
Travel the world and meet some ladies.
