Just got back from an action packed trip to New York. The Back To The Banks event has grown over the last 5 years to be one of the truest street contests around. Manny Mania started piggy backing the event because it draws so many skaters to the city. This year, not only were there 2 contests going on, but a Zoo York State of Mind video premiere to boot! Here's some pics of the trip.

Brandon Westgate rolled down to NYC for the Zoo York premiere with his family and girlfriend. Westgate had the opening part in the vid and is so amazing! His style and power on a skateboard are truly one of a kind.

Aaron Suski hanging out with Steve Rodriguez from 5boro after the premiere. Suski came through wit ha solid part holding it down from Tucson to NYC.

We got rained out on Friday so we went for a session at the Autumn bowl in Brooklyn. Kevin Wilkins from The Skateboard Mag cruised along with us.

Collin Provost had never skated the bowl before but that did not stop him from killing it on his first run. This kids tranny skills are ridiculous.

Marquis was little hung over from the Zoo York after party at Max Fish. He was definitely chill seeking.

My boy Willy Akers was totally shredding the banks. Willy came up $4000 for winning both the bank to wall and the bank to ledge sections.

Collin was one of the few dudes who skated all four sections of the contest. He nailed it pretty hard on everything including a frontside 360 ollie over the rail! He definitely deserved the overall award.
