Saturday, November 3, 2007: Not even the scorching heat and desert winds could stop the Emerica team from descending upon Simi Valley, California for a full-blown demo on the Active grounds! Leo Romero and Marquis Preston were the early birds and started it off with some bangers down the eight-stair rail. Not to be outdone, Andrew Reynolds, Bryan Herman and Heath Kirchart quickly joined in, with back-ups provided by Emerica flow riders Collin Provost and Theotis Beasley.
Good tricks were being landed, with Andrew pulling his signature frontside flip over the eight-stair rail, Leo blasting a monster ollie out of the bank and over the fence, and Heath not giving up on his kickflip back tail on the bank to ledge. Also spotted on the scene were Jerry Hsu and Kevin “Spanky” Long, currently injured but ready to get back on board soon. They joined the whole crew for a lively signing after the demo was through. Thanks to everyone at Active for having us!
