Our local skate shop, Uneek, organized a Go Skate Day event on June 22nd, strongly supporting our local skate scene. Our meeting place was at the food stalls near by the infamous Jerudong Amusement Park (not a skate park, its a play ground to be exact).

People started to gather around 3 p.m. and others skated the ledge for awhile before proceeding in.

The event started out with a skate clinic for the kids. Making them upclose and comfortable with the other guys. Having thought the basics, people started to goof and skated around the area. We setup a small box and rails for the kids to skate at the old roller skate rink.

Moments later, people started to skate the marble and stairs spots near by. Having a bunch of skateboarders banging out tricks like mad, it turned into a best trick comp down the tiny 3 flat 3.

Tricks were thrown down. Even the kids rips! But the stand outs we're the local rippers. Dinnie threw down solid tre flips, bs big spins, big flips, nollie bigheel & bs flips.

Bam busted out some nollie flips, nollie heels, heelflips indys, sw heels.

Zul started out with some fs flips. Fs 360s, sw flips, haf cab flips & hardflips.

But the stand out of the day went to Faiq. Throwing down tricks after tricks from, sw varial heels, sw fs heels, bs 360 and loads more.

A rail was then setup down the tiny 3. Having a bunch of tricks locked down, the best trick went to Awang KB. Nailing more tricks than others. Bs lip, 180 nosegrind, fakie fs board, salads, flip 5-0s and bunch more.

Soon after that the event ended on some down pour. The game of skate was canceled.

But yet, everyone was psyched on the event. Session out with old friends, meeting new people, creating, innovating, shredding, and strongly supporting the local skate scene.
