Emerica's The Gold Rookie-contest is a contest that took place in Poland for the last 12 months. Skaters could send in their demo tapes and each month the winner received some Emerica footwear and apparel. In total around 200 demo tapes were send over and a few days ago the 12 finalist came to Cracow for the big final.

Besides all the finalists, photographers and filmmakers also European Team Manager and riders Jo Lorenz, Vladik Sholz and Eniz Fazilov were in Cracow to help to decide who would be the winner.

The day was set up as a big session where everybody came together and get to know each other and make some infamous "shagawaga" at night

The day ended at the Cracow indoor bowl where the winner was announced: Emerica's Gold Rookie of The Year is Dawid Cybula from Głogów.
