Remember last year when an Iraqi reporter threw a shoe at then-President Bush for his extremely unpopular foreign policies? Well, history just repeated itself. Seems a disgruntled Jane's Addiction "fan," who was apparently unsatisfied with their performance, lobbed an Emerica shoe at frontman Perry Farrell's face during their set at Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, California on May 20, 2009. “Emerica? This isn't even as good as a Birkenstock!” Perry responded, echoing an incident years ago in which a sandal got chucked at him. Even hippies target Jane's Addiction. Ha-ha! Hmmm, we wonder if this whole event at Verizon was staged. Either way, it's hilarious.
