About the Cadence

The Cadence is a modern low-top vulcanized skate shoe that strikes the perfect balance between boardfeel and style. Featuring a clean, single-piece vamp, this shoe eliminates toe cap seams, which reduces the risk of blowouts and ensures smooth flicks every time you kickflip. With its classic vulcanized construction, the Cadence offers a flexible, broken-in feel straight out of the box, making it an excellent choice for both casual shredding and quick park sessions after school.
Grip, Comfort, and Durability:
Emerica’s signature Triangle Tread outsole gives you excellent grip and traction on your board, allowing for confident flicks and control on various surfaces. Care & Maintenance
Built to skate and made to last, Emerica footwear will hold up best with regular, low-effort care. Brush off dirt after sessions, spot clean gently with a soft cloth or brush, and let your shoes air dry naturally.
Store them in a cool, dry place between wears, and avoid direct heat or harsh washing methods. A little maintenance goes a long way in preserving the fit, feel, and life of your pair.

These are robust yet comfortable. Lifelong skater at 54 years old and have had every shoe to wear and wear out. These are so worth the money for more reasons to list, and stylish enough to have to wear on the town.

Loving this shoe, great fit, support and look. Beware, the "pinstripe" in the picture appears blue-ish, it's actually dark grey, which I preferred! 10/10

Dope shoes, super comfy and grippy. But got holes in both of the bottoms from the insoles straight through the grip within 2 months. Burned holes thru a bunch of my sock.

Shoes look great and i want to skate in them but one is missing the uppermost holes for shoelaces! i understand, there are mistakes with quality control but emerica didn't even respond when i contacted them. cannot recommend buying from them.

The fact that Emerica offers shoes that don't entail killing animals for materials is a start towards something greater.
The Cadence is a pretty great shoe design. It reminds me a little bit of the 2017 Vans Chimas. Great board feel, good articulation and naturally unrestrictive. It's got an attractive style as well. It's not the Pillar (We would love to see the PIllar be all animal friendly)
This is a great shoe, and, knowing it is also able to be made with materials that don't entail hurting animals who literally did nothing to deserve being harmed is a testament to how **all** skate shoes should be made with faux suede, canvas, or other non animal derived materials.
Consider this-
Someone has the ability to make a shoe where they have to pay someone to kill an animal and take their skin to fabricate a shoe.
At the same time they also have the ability to instead source materials where they **don't** have to pay someone to kill any living, feeling, breathing beings to produce the shoe..
On top of that, skaters and people who like skate shoe fashion aren't asking that shoe producer to choose the first option. But then there **are** one or more customers actively asking to just start making all shoes without the killing of the innocent animals.
Why would the company continue with the first option?
Ermerica, Nidecker Group - You can make all of your shoes without paying someone to kill animals for their skin and byproducts. We are asking you to stop paying for people to do that to animals.

I wear a size 11, bought them in that size, but right away they didn't hug my heel and I thought I just had to break in the insole, wore them for a full day and it still didn't help. Even bought non slip heel pad things from cvs, didn't help. They feel really good though and you can tell they're good skate shoes, but beware of the heel slip. They were sliding off from just walking, you can only imagine how bad it would be when pushing to set up for a trick

Excelentes Pares
Las acabo de usar para hacer cruising por toda la ciudad (+10km aprox) y fueron geniales. A veces sentía que me abrazaban el pies y su grip es super buena no se siente como si tuviera que pelear por levantar el pie de la tabla pero si sentía que el pie nunca se iba a despegar. Los mejores pares que he comprado y además volvieron a casa como nuevos. La gamuza no se ensució fácil a comparación de otros pares que tengo de otras marcas 10/10 y la talla era lo que más me preocupaba porque adelante mi pie es algo ancho pero esta zapatilla tiene el ancho perfecto para mi talla, no tuve que pedir una talla más grande. Fue perfecto, definitivamente voy a pedir más zapatillas emerica
