Early-2000s classic reborn – the Heritic returns with TPR toe cap, full cupsole support, and arch comfort

The Heritic is a blast from Emerica’s past, originally born in the early 2000s and now reintroduced with modern tech for today’s skating demands. This classic silhouette was designed as a no-nonsense, everyday skate shoe that could handle all the demands of street and park sessions, and the reissue stays true to that formula while adding updates for improved performance.

Durable Construction for Every Skate Session:
The Heritic features a double-stitched TPR rubber toe cap, designed to protect the shoe from flick damage. The TPR overlay acts as a built-in bumper that can take the repeated impact of kickflips and ollies without wearing out, giving you one less thing to worry about. To further reinforce its durability, the Heritic uses triple stitching in high-wear zones and a durable suede upper that stands up to constant abrasion, making this shoe a true workhorse.

Comfort and Support Built-In:
With a cupsole construction, the Heritic delivers more support and impact protection than a traditional vulc, while still keeping the shoe flexible and responsive. It also features an EVA foam footbed with arch support, giving you the comfort needed for long skate sessions. The shoe’s chunkier shape offers a more stable fit, a nod to the early-2000s style, and provides snug support without sacrificing comfort. A moderately padded tongue and collar add to the overall cushion while keeping the profile slim enough to maintain that technical look.

Classic Grip and Control:
The Heritic is equipped with a classic triangle and herringbone tread pattern for consistent grip and control on your board. Whether you’re hitting curbs, ledges, or skateparks, the tread keeps you in control through every trick, providing the reliability you need for everyday skating.

A Return to Form with Modern Touches:
For skaters who remember the Heritic from the early 2000s, this reissue is a nostalgic blast from the past, bringing back the reliable, tough design that made it a favorite. The balance between comfort and durability makes it perfect for daily use – from street skating to skatepark sessions. It’s a simple yet technical shoe that was built to handle skate abuse while providing everything you need to stay on top of your game.

Heretic

I absolutely love this shoe! And I absolutely loved the originals! Probably had five or six pairs back in the day. Thanks Emerica for bringing this shoe back!
Edit: I had to repost this review because I spelled "Emerica" wrong, and it was driving me nuts🤦🏻‍♂️

Dope shoe but a LIL tight in the toe box

So I bought the heritic and the OG-1. Haven’t had Emericas in forever so I was stoked to recieve em. Haven’t skated em yet so I can speak for that, but I can say they both look dope and appear to be well made. Now, I’m currently skating a pair of és accel OGs. I figured since it was the same brand I could just get my usual size (13). The OG-1 fit almost exactly like the accel OG. Which is absolutely perfect for me. It’s snug in the best way possible. Well the heritic fit about the same, with the exception of the toe cap. Toe cap is a bit narrow. I think it’ll actually hurt my feet if I wore em for a few hours at a time. I thought about sending em back, but I really like the shoe, and I already know 14 will be too big. Having too much room interferes with flick. If they had a 13.5 I might have sent em back. But I’m thinkin maybe they’ll work out once I break em in. We’ll see. I’ll wear em around here and there and if they don’t break in to be more comfy, I’ll prolly donate em to a less fortunate skateboarder. Send em to goodwill or something. Anyways I hope this review helps anyone shopping for these to score a good fit. Thanks Emerica for keepin it gangsta. Bring back the Ellingtons!!!

Solid skate shoe!

This shoe is amazing! Great comfort, shape, and tremendous grip on the board. I have never tried this shoe before and I'm sold. The all day comfort i get a well as the shape and look of the shoe is sick. They also skate extremely well. I will definitely be getting another pair of heretics. I work at Woodward park city, so I walk, stand, jump, skate, and am on my feet actively all day. These shoes are a perfect fit and I am very stoked I chose this model!!! 5 stars 🌟
