Designed for Durability with Classic Style
True to Leo’s minimalist aesthetic, the one-piece vamp eliminates any stitching on the toe cap, making it less prone to blowouts during flip tricks. The lacing system sits high on the shoe, away from the flick zone, which reduces the risk of tearing laces during kickflips and tre flips. The tongue is equipped with hidden elastic straps (referred to as “wings”) to keep it centered and snug on your foot, ensuring a secure fit even if you lace them loosely for casual wear.
The upper is primarily made of durable suede, with some colorways incorporating canvas quarters for added breathability. Classic low profile shoe, excellent simple toe, and they feel great. Liked that toe and heel are sued but middle panel is heavy canvas. Nice touch. Also, really appreciate that Emerica isn’t owned by war mongering kooks.

I ordered these shoes for my son as as gift and we had to send the first pair back because they were warped. Then I waited a few weeks and ordered them again and they sent the same damaged pair. Rather then send them back again, my decided to keep them. What a disappointment that he got damaged shoes and now they/re sold out.

I've skated 2 pairs of these. Very thin and minimal, super board feel for better or worse. durability is decent. Unless my feet are weird, it's shocking that someone would end their product design where this did. Laces rip fairly easy (for me it's the top hole). Laces are crazy long and they aren't the right material where you can burn the ends (they fray). I put tube shrinkers on top and it was an annoying job to remedy. The little heel slip thing doesn't work. My first pair didn't have it and both are impossible to slip on. They need to be loosened up to put on, but I can rip them off. I tried to only lace 3 holes instead of 4 so they'd be able to slip on but it's just too loose, and I'd consider myself in the middle for loose/snug preference. They basically fit like uncomfortable dress shoes with a soft bottom. Performance wise - ZERO break in for me bc they're so soft, and flick feels good. These don't have typical capsule protection - Landing primo will hurt. Before these I skated Figgys which looked equally "clean" but at least I could slip them on/ the achilles area never hurt.

I had multiple pairs of these back when they were just the emerica laced. Getting back into skateboarding the shoe game was meh for me but then I tried these again and they were it. I love how it combines board feel in a cupsole. Only shoe I want to skate going forward, so please do not discontinue.

Love these shoes and love the price. Wish the sole lasted longer and you need to replace the insole with a better one. But once you get the shoe dialed in to how you like it they skate amazing. A thin cupsole designed like a vulc is a great combo.

Tried to return but order number didn’t match up so I attempted many times to speak to someone and no response…

Best skate shoe I've had in a very long time. Its perfect in my eyes. A thin cupsole that feels like a vulc but has many of the cupsole benefits, like improved heelflips. Theyve also lasted a long time. Been skating these off and on for over a month and theyre still going strong. Honestly the bottom of the outsole is going to wear out before the ollie/flick area. 10/10 would buy again.

I tried these because they were on sale. Normally, I buy the Tilt G6 (old) or the Low Vulc. Those shoes just fit me better and feel more supportive. The Romero are comfortable, but for some reason the toe boxes on the pair I received are pretty "pointy" ... definitely not as rounded as they look in the photos so I was a bit disappointed with that but I'll still wear them ... just not my favorite style.
