I never take it off. It's super thick but not bulky. It keeps me warm on my way to work and I go full speed on my electric skateboard. I feel like if I were to fall, it will keep me safe. Oh and it looks frickin' awesome. I've gotten at least 1 compliment already. I highly recommend you don't take medium because that's my size and I want another when the price drops.
