The KSL G6 by Kevin “Spanky” Long is a tribute to Emerica’s iconic past, blending the classic silhouette of Spanky’s first pro model with the cutting-edge skate tech of today. Originally released in 2005, the KSL has been updated with modern performance features, resulting in a shoe that stays true to its roots while offering improved comfort, durability, and control.
A Tribute to the Classic:
The KSL G6 retains the familiar low-cut collar, suede panels, and clean lines of the original, combined with Spanky’s signature flair. It’s a shoe that feels nostalgic but brings new-school tech to the table for superior performance.
Impact Protection and Cushioning:
Fitted with pour-in G6 polyurethane midsole technology, the KSL G6 offers the impact protection and cushioning that the 2005 version could only dream of. Whether you’re landing big gaps or grinding ledges, this shoe ensures your feet stay fresh and supported throughout the session.
Durability for the Long Haul:
The updated cupsole construction is reinforced with high-density rubber heel drag pods, ensuring the shoe can withstand extensive powerslides and wear without losing grip. Emerica’s Triangle Tread pattern delivers consistent traction, whether you’re on smooth pavement or rough terrain.

Care & Maintenance
Built to skate and made to last, Emerica footwear will hold up best with regular, low-effort care. Brush off dirt after sessions, spot clean gently with a soft cloth or brush, and let your shoes air dry naturally.
Store them in a cool, dry place between wears, and avoid direct heat or harsh washing methods. A little maintenance goes a long way in preserving the fit, feel, and life of your pair.

I own 5 pairs. But i cant forget Baker 3 changed everything. Spanky rocking all three KSLs was iconic—dude made each one look like it was built for him. But the KSL Dos Baker collab? That was peak. The colorway, the vibe, the whole energy—nothing’s hit like that since. I mocked up a ‘what if’ just to see it again… fingers crossed we get another drop someday! I did a what if color swap.

I have 4 more stashed. I have been skating thus shoe sonce it came out. The right combination of comfort/support and board feel. (The Figgy G6 is on par). I replace the insole halfway through the life of the shoe with a G6 one.
