About the Winkowski
Erick Winkowski’s first pro shoe – a high-top with retro flair: stash pocket tongue, rubber toe cap, double-wrap vulc, and G6 cushioning

Erick Winkowski’s debut Emerica pro model is a reflection of his skating: explosive, unconventional, and full of character. The Winkowski High doesn’t just look different — it skates different, combining vintage flair, modern function, and personal touches that make it uniquely his.

Retro Form, Modern Function

At first glance, the Winkowski looks like a throwback — a beefy high-top with that classic 80s-meets-90s vibe. But it’s anything but outdated. The deconstructed collar provides ankle coverage without feeling stiff or restrictive, striking that sweet spot between movement and protection. The double-wrapped vulcanized sole offers solid boardfeel with reinforced sidewalls for durability — ideal for Winkowski’s mix of slidey tech and burly transition tricks.

Rubber Toe Cap & Triple Stitching

The rubberized toe cap serves double duty: it enhances flick durability while reinforcing the shoe’s retro appeal. Meanwhile, triple stitching in high-wear zones ensures that even Winkowski’s hardest sessions won’t blow the shoe out. It’s rugged where it counts, but never overbuilt.

G6 Insole + Details That Matter

Inside the shoe, G6 polyurethane foam cushions harsh landings and keeps the ride comfortable, no matter how long the session runs. But what really sets the Winkowski apart are the details:
• A tongue stash pocket, adding a cheeky nod to skate culture (and cushioning up top).
• Tongue straps to keep the fit locked and centered — a must in a high-top.
• Workwear-inspired touches like metal rivets and an upside-down triangle embroidery add just the right amount of flair.
• And the most personal detail? A tribute to Winkowski’s late dog, Georgia — featured subtly on some colorways, including a stitched name or custom insole artwork.

Built to Skate, Built with Personality

Whether you’re blasting a frontside air or cruising curbs with a beer in hand, the Winkowski high-top delivers. It’s a skate shoe with heart, blending old-school flavor with real modern support and durability. For those who love high-tops, appreciate standout design, or just want something with real personality, the Winkowski is the kind of shoe that gets you hyped before you even step on your board. Just like Erick.
Size & Fit

Emerica footwear is built to fit true to size, so your usual size is the best place to start. Because skate shoes are designed for board feel, control, and support, a snug fit out of the box is normal and will ease up slightly after a few sessions.

Care & Maintenance

Built to skate and made to last, Emerica footwear will hold up best with regular, low-effort care. Brush off dirt after sessions, spot clean gently with a soft cloth or brush, and let your shoes air dry naturally.

Store them in a cool, dry place between wears, and avoid direct heat or harsh washing methods. A little maintenance goes a long way in preserving the fit, feel, and life of your pair.
